
Meet Billy
Billy grew up just outside the city of Philadelphia in Devon Pennsylvania. He started playing the game of golf at the age of 12. Billy quickly developed a passion for the game and by the age of 15, he was shooting under par and winning local junior tournaments. Billy had several offers to play Division I collegiate golf and chose Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He went on to multiple wins and was inducted into the Hawks athletic Hall of Fame. After graduating college, Billy turned professional and played full time on the mini-tours in Florida for 6 years. He won several times and decided to join the PGA of America and become a club professional. He earned his PGA Membership in 2016, is a top-ranked professional in Philadelphia, and is a well-respected instructor.
Billy currently teaches multiple Division I players, top-ranked high school players, and other PGA professionals. Being a competitor himself, many students are attracted to Billy as an instructor not just because of this knowledge of the swing but also his advice on how to succeed as a competitor at the highest level. Billy also has a passion for helping the game of golf grow by teaching beginner golfers. He takes pride in enlightening people’s interest in taking up the game of golf that etiquette and pace of play define a golfer. Billy currently spends the winter months teaching for the Leadbetter Academy at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and the summer months at Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill, PA.
